Information on how to measure for a handmade bracelet.

Take a loose measuring tape (or a piece of string) and wrap it around your wrist, firm against the skin but not too tight.
If using string, mark the spot where the ends meet and hold the string against a ruler to get a measurement.
Add 1/4 to 1/2 inch, depending on how loosely you'd like the custom handmade bracelet to fit.
Women are typically 7 - 8 inches.

GUIDELINES FOR CHILDREN'S BRACELETS

These are general sizes and don`t apply to every child. When possible, please measure your child`s wrist and add 1/2" to the measurement for a more accurate size.

0-6 months: 4.0"
6-12 months: 4.5"
1yr - 2yrs: 5 1/4"
2yrs - 4yrs: 5.5"
4 yrs - 6 yrs: 6.0"
6 yrs and up: 6.5"

All measurements are approximate. Due to bead sizes, amount of letters used and making the bracelet aesthetically even, when making your bracelet we may be off by 1/8 to 1/4 inch but we will make every effort possible to get your exact measurement. We will always make sure that if we are off, we will make it a little bigger than smaller.
