Swarovski Crystals Representing AA's 12 Steps.
1. Admitted we were powerless over alcohol-that our lives had become
unmanageable.
Amethyst (deep purple) is the traditional gemstone associated
with abstinence from alcohol; it is thought to promote calmness and clarity of
thought.
2. Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore
us to sanity.
Peridot (light green) is thought to calm anxiety and promote
spirituality.
3. Turned our will and our lives over to the care of God as we
understood Him.
Ruby (deep red) the “heart” stone, is thought to promote
spirituality and wise choices.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
Turquoise (blue-green) the “truth” stone, is thought to be a
master healing stone and promoter of honesty.
5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the
exact nature of our wrongs.
Carnelian (reddish orange) the stone of action, is thought to
have a positive, motivating effect.
6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of
character.
Golden Topazis (Golden Yellow) is thought to promote
emotional balance.
7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
Clear Quartz is thought to promote universal healing,
unconditional love and spiritual receptivity.
8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to
make amends to them all.
Moss Agate (khaki green) is associated with forgiveness,
acceptance, and positive change.
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when
to do so would injure them or others.
Rose Quartz (pink) is associated with tolerance, acceptance,
forgiveness and love.
10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong
promptly admitted it.
Pearls (White) symbolize honesty, purity and wisdom.
11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious
contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will
for us and the power to carry that out.
Iolite (light sapphire blue) is thought to promote spiritual
enlightenment and a higher awareness.
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we
tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in
all our affairs.
Azurite (dark sapphire blue), like iolote, is thought to not
only to promote spiritual enlightenment and a higher awareness, but also
encourages and enhances one's ability to communicate these ideals.
